Adult Programs

This five-year, State Government–funded initiative is focused on strengthening connections between younger generations and seniors aged 60 years and over through the power of storytelling.
At its heart, the project aims to reduce social isolation among community members by creating meaningful opportunities for sharing life experiences, wisdom, and cultural knowledge across generations.
The project will feature monthly events and activities co-designed through community consultation, ensuring that both seniors and participating organisations have a strong voice in shaping the program. These events bring together young people and seniors to exchange stories, learn from one another, and build lasting relationships.
Through creative and inclusive storytelling formats - such as group conversations, digital media, arts-based sessions, and community showcases - the project will foster belonging, boost wellbeing, and celebrate the rich contributions of our senior community members.
In collaboration with local organisations, schools, and community groups, the initiative is committed to creating a vibrant, respectful space where intergenerational connections are fostered.
