The State Library of Queensland has provided Queensland public libraries with access to this web-based video subscription service. The service provides courses for learning the latest commercial software, creative and business skills.
Please note that Lynda.com has now been upgraded to LinkedIn Learning. Users will be able to access over 16,000 courses in 7 different languages, in an easy-to-use interface. There is no need to create a LinkedIn account to access LinkedIn Learning for Library. Users will need only a current library membership to access LinkedIn Learning for Library. Topics include software, web design, photography, business and career skills, social media and job search tools. Courses are for all levels from beginner to advanced. Use your library card number to sign in.

The State Library of Queensland has taken a statewide subscription to Ames English courses for Queensland public libraries.
This subscription provides each library service with 50 concurrent users access to two modules in the AMES suite:
- World Wide English - General English courses from beginner to intermediate with a work, life and study focus.
- Living in Australia - General English online course for students beginning to learn English.

All library public access computers now have a direct link to Qld Transport's website, which allows you to practice the Your keys to driving in Queensland Learners Driving Test online. With questions similar to those used in a Customer Service Centre (CSC), Qld Government Agency Program (QGAP) office or police station, you will gain an indication of areas that you will need to focus on before sitting the actual test.
