Ben's Book Club - Online Book Club

Ben's Book Club, hosted by bestselling author Ben Hobson, invites Whitsunday Regional Libraries members to read the monthly title in Libby and join online discussions with the author each month.

Library card holders can borrow the monthly book club selection with no waiting or holds on the Libby app. Access Whitsunday Regional Libraries' digital content 24/7 on the Libby App or by visiting Overdrive.  During this digital book club, guests will have the opportunity to ask questions, interact with the author, and enjoy a bookish discussion. 

This month join best seller (and local favourite) Chris Hammer to discuss his novel The Valley.  Chris Hammer is a leading Australian crime fiction author. His first book, Scrublands, was an instant #1 bestseller upon publication in 2018 and his other titles have gone on to win many awards. Before turning to fiction, Chris was a journalist for more than thirty years and has written two non-fiction books. The Valley is his seventh title. It can be read as a standalone, but it works best when readers know the other books.
