Adult Learners Week 1 - 8 September 2021

Adult Learners Week is a great time for people to explore where they want to be in the future.  To celebrate, Whitsunday Regional Libraries will hold free Tech Help sessions for people needing a little help, or perhaps just getting started in navigating the digital world.  Library membership is not required.

Bowen Library will commence weekly one-on-one sessions with Andreas from Wednesday, 1 September between 9:00am and 11:00am.

Cannonvale Library will hold one-on-one sessions on Monday, 6 September between 9:00am and 3:00pm, and on Tuesday, 7 September between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Weekly one-on-one sessions will then continue every Tuesday between 2:00pm and 4:00pm (excluding school holidays).

Whitsunday Regional Library members also have 24/7 access to a range of free online tutorials including LinkedIn Learning which has over 16,000 courses in 7 different languages, in an easy-to-use interface.  Topics include software, web design, photography, business and career skills, social media and job search tools and courses are for all levels from beginner to advanced.
