Proserpine Library is Open for Business!

Things may look a little different as you approach Proserpine Library, however we are still open and hoping to welcome you soon! Due to works at the Proserpine Entertainment Centre, Ken MacPherson Park in front of the Proserpine Library will be temporarily closed from Wednesday 17 March 2021. The Proserpine Library and after hours return bin will remain accessible from the rear carpark off Dobbins Lane. Entry to Dobbins Lane is via the Main Street in Proserpine, or alternatively from Chapman or Robert Street. Additional library parking is available in the Deicke Arcade carpark. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank residents for their patience while we undertake these important works.

Proserpine Library offers a range of resources such as books, magazines and DVD’s for loan. As well as free computer and internet access, printing, scanning and copying services (charges apply). Free children’s programs for under 5’s are held weekly and bookings for these sessions can be made through Eventbrite, or by phoning the branch on 4945 0275. The library is a great place to study, relax and connect with other community members.
