Big Library Read Campaign
The next Big Library Read kicks off on November 7 with title "Montgomery and the case of the golden key" by Tracy Occomy Crowder. Our library members can read or listen for free between 7-21 November.
Whitsunday Regional Library Readers can access the digital book with no waitlists or holds by downloading the Libby app. They can also participate in an online discussion with other readers from around the globe on November 7.
The Big Library Read digital book club connects readers through participating Australian and New Zealand public libraries with the same ebook for two weeks and only requires a valid library card to get started. This free program is facilitated by Overdrive, the leading digital reading platform for ebooks, audiobooks and magazines and creator of the award-winning Libby app.
It’s 2008, and ten-year-old Montgomery “Monty” Carver is out to find the origin of a golden key found in his Southside Chicago community–which may or may not host the next Olympic games, or supply the next President of the United States, or . . . have a potential ghost hanging around.
