From 7 February 2022 we are no longer required to collect contact information via the Check In app as mandatory vaccination is currently not a condition of entry to the Whitsunday Regional Libraries.
Our new online database of digital books in World Languages, that allows kids to enjoy the magic of books in LOTE (Languages Other Than English).
Visitors to Whitsunday Regional Libraries are not required to show proof of vaccination at this time as libraries are considered an essential community service. However, a face mask must be worn.

Whitsunday Regional Council resolved at its Ordinary Meeting on 24 November 2021 to extend the temporary closure of the Proserpine Library until Tuesday, 4 January 2022.
